


Grow Trade Consulting Inc., offers personalized trade consulting and business facilitation services to small- and medium-sized companies looking to successfully launch or expand the sales of their products and services into the Canadian market. We began operating in November 2004, a privatized offshoot of the Canadian Trade Office of the Council of Great Lakes Governors and continue to work as the Canadian Trade Representative of the Council of Great Lakes Governors; currently representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Wisconsin.
Since 1990 the Canadian Trade Office has assisted Small Market Entry (SME) firms from Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to identify and benefit from business opportunities in a diverse range of industries across Canada. We have also assisted start-up companies in Canada with strategic guidance to access funding opportunities and frame their business plans. In 2007 Grow Trade Consulting began working with the Commonwealth of Virginia; working both one on one with clients and organizing three successful trade missions for the state into Toronto and Montreal.
The Canadian market offers a great deal of opportunity for global business development. Many opportunities exist not only in traditional industries (such as resource extraction), but also in emerging sectors such as green technology and services.
